Regulate & Restore: A Yoga-Centered Community for OTPs (Virtual)

Who This Is For

If you’re an OTP (occupational therapist, assistant, or student) feeling burned out, disillusioned, disconnected, under-supported, or isolated, R&R for OTPs is the place to connect, breathe, move, rest, and share the load with those that get it (the load everyone writes about online but rarely talks about face-to-face). This will especially resonate with you if you are familiar with or open to learning more about polyvagal theory, practices centering interoceptive awareness, mindful self-compassion, acceptance and commitment therapy, and trauma-informed approaches through the lenses of occupational therapy and yoga.

What This Is

In our first pilot session of R&R for OTPs, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Introduce yourself and connect with fellow OTPs who understand the unique challenges of our profession.
  • Engage in a yoga practice lead by Logan (mindfulness, breathwork, and gentle movement designed to regulate and restore). No props or prior yoga experience is needed to participate.
  • Share your ideas, experiences, and feedback to help shape future sessions and build a community that truly supports us.

In effort to be sensitive to trauma and affirming of all neurotypes, your level of participation and contribution is completely up to you.

What This Is Not

This isn’t a fix for burnout or the systemic issues shaping our work. This is a space to pause intentionally, reflect mindfully, respond compassionately, and support one another graciously so that you can show up as your most authentic self in every role, occupation, and environment.
